Windsor-Essex Gift Guide For More Than Jewerly

Gifting buying isn’t for the faint of heart. So many options, so many things to choose from.

Allow me walk you through just a few of the many options that YQG has to offer. Hopefully this post makes gift-giving fun the next time you’re shopping for your person or you!

Jewelry Travel Cases

You know when you plan out all your outfits for a trip? (its not just me right?) You’ve got 5 mins before your brunch date starts and your jewelry is a hot jumbled mess! Yikes! These travel cases have come to my rescue more times than I can count. They are compact and really help keep all your fav pieces organized (and separate!). And as an added bonus, they are super cute!

Manis and Pedis

A fresh mani and pedi is always a great idea! Grab a gift certificate, relax n unwind at Salon Cure. Check out Madeline's instagram. She is certified through St. Clair College as a medical esthetician. I’ll let her work do all the talking! You may have trouble choosing a design to go with because her work is absolutely stunning. Don’t forget to give her a follow on Insta to see her latest designs and get some inspo for your next appointment!

The plant lover

Is there such thing as owning too many plants? Nope. For all the plant lovers in your life (or you), the family-owned Ruthven Nursery, located in Kingsville, is a local haven. The nursery has everything your little plant-obsessed heart desires. They also carry gorgeous home decor! Pop over to their beautiful store the next time you want a new plant baby or decor.

Address:

1611 Talbot Rd, Ruthven, ON N0P 2G0

For the Finicky/ Hard-to-Shop-For Person

My best friend is the hardest person to shop for, I swear! Don’t we all have someone who is impossible to shop for?! Fear not, I have a plan of attack! Variety is key. A gift basket with a bunch of little goodies always does the trick. Wolf and Rebel is the perfect local shop. The shop is warm and inviting. The decor, to-die-for! You might find yourself becoming a regular here. They’ve got soo much to choose from! Like this Brightening+Soothing Sheet Mask (they’ve got a whole wall of sheet masks!), this Skull Bath Bomb or how about this adorable tote bag. They have a great selection of vintage and thrifted clothing as well.  Whatever theme you may want your gifts, they’ve got tons of options to choose from.

Dessert Lover

Who doesn’t love dessert? I do. Forget big-box store cookie-cutter desserts. If you’re looking for one-of-a-kind dessert that’s gonna knock your socks off, check out Love Letter Bakeshop, a local bakeshop in Belleriver. This little shop makes the most beautiful macaroons, hand-painted cake pops and other desserts. The love that goes into making these treats is undeniable. Make sure to email your order in advance. Check out their Instagram, it’ll have you drooling!

Windsor-Essex has so much to offer. The next time you’re looking for something special, take some time to explore what our local shops have to offer. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at what you find. Shop small, support local.
