Jewelry Makeover 101
It’s April, though the weather is undecided, spring is here! Warmer days are just around the corner. How exciting!
That being said, I’m in desperate need of a wardrobe makeover. I need to get out of my sweats and put some excitement into my outfits. A lesson I learned over the years is that when updating your wardrobe, don’t neglect jewelry. Jewelry is the piece of the puzzle that ties it all together. A great piece of jewelry can really do wonders when it comes to elevating an outfit.
If you’re looking to update your looks for the upcoming season(s) like me, here are some tips to help you build a great jewelry collection so you can look like a million bucks.
Covering your basics:
The key to a well-balanced jewelry collection is basics. Investing in basics will allow you to not only create a plethora of looks but also keep you from feeling like you’re in a constant jewelry rut. Think of these pieces as your black dress or your basic white tee, an absolute necessity.

Statement pieces don’t necessarily have to be big. Anything that you can wear with impact can be considered as one. I love statement pieces! What I adore about them is how it can take an outfit from basic to fabulous. One of my fav statement piece is the Brizo earring. The beautiful wavy design catches the light so beautifully and adds great dimension to your outfit. My fav way to style this is with a crisp oversized white button down.
